Yoga Nidra, or “conscious sleep yoga”, is a gentle yet powerful practice that guides you into a state of deep relaxation. In just 20 minutes, it can reduce stress, improve sleep and enhance mental clarity. 

Yoga Nidra is the equivalent of lucid sleep. It is a traditional technique of deep relaxation, allowing the different “bodies” or Koshas to relax. The benefits are felt on the physical, energetic and emotional bodies.

Accessible to all, it’s a simple way to integrate greater calm and balance into your daily life, taking the time to refocus, let go and recharge your batteries.

It is an essential practice for finding balance in the whirlwind of modern life.

a two step program
29 & 30 march | 15 hours

 We will focus on the theory and structure of the practice, the Koshas, brain waves, the nervous system, the breath and how the practice affects them.

Imagery, archetypes, language and resolution will also be explored and discussed.

4 april | 5 hours

Integration and application for teachers who would like to guide this practice. An additional 5 hour training will be offered to those who would like to guide this practice. During this practical integration and application, you will learn how to hold space and how to most effectively use your voice to guide a Nidra. We will also look at how to create your own Nidra text.

You can sign up for March 29th and 30th only, or add April 4th—it's your choice.

    • Language, choice of words and the importance of repetition

    • Voice and rhythm
    • Shankalpa, working with intention recognizing our samskaras

    • metta, presence, holding space.
