BIOGRAPHY

In 2020, I decided to put my doctoral studies in literature on hold to become a massage therapist. After earning my certification in Quebec, I traveled to the United States to train with physical therapist John F. Barnes in myofascial release.

Myofascial release is a technique I love sharing with my clients and community because it is simple to apply on yourself and empowers people to take an active role in their own healing. It has been transformative in my own life, and I am always grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for the fascia with others.

Workshop Schedule

Myofascial Release Workshop – Level 1: Relieve Tension and Ease Chronic Pain with a Therapy Ball

Saturday, September 19 at 2 PM

Fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds and supports every structure in the body, is often where tension is held. Over time, these restrictions can contribute to chronic pain and a wide range of health concerns. Open to everyone, this workshop offers an introduction to fascia through a series of self-myofascial release exercises using a therapy ball. Based on the method developed by American physical therapist John F. Barnes, the practice emphasizes patience, presence, and deep listening to the body, allowing for lasting and meaningful release. Participants will leave with practical tools they can use on their own to care for their bodies, relieve tension, and support their ongoing well-being.
