Learn to float

SATURDAY 14TH OF septembER AT 8:30AM

The “learn to float” workshop allows us to understand and practice the important elements to be able to lighten our transitions from downward dog to the front of the mat, or from uttanasana to chaturanga.

Learning to float is not something that can be perfectly mastered in a 1.5-hour workshop. It’s often the result of hard work, accumulated experience and sustained practice.

To get there, you need to accumulate practice with the right tools! You have to understand what you’re doing and why. And finally, you have to adapt the equipment to YOUR own body.

We’ll cover the theory behind the various important points to consider in terms of alignment, weight transfer, preparation of wrists and shoulders, how to work with the breath etc. We’ll see different progressions depending on each person’s level of experience, strength and mobility. There will be plenty of specific exercises (drills) to bring back tools to work on independently after the workshop.

The workshop is open to anyone who has already been practicing yoga for at least 1 year.

MEMBER PRICE : 29$
REGULAR PRICE : 36$

biography

My first contact with yoga was a revelation. I knew somehow that this practice was going to be part of my life. There is no place in the world where I feel more at home than when I practice or teach yoga. When I found yoga I also found my path; I discovered techniques that would help me understand and love myself. I felt the urge to share what I was living inside, I felt I needed to teach and so I was trained in Hatha Yoga.

I am learning and exploring everyday and everyday my practice is growing and flourishing. Amazed by the transformations on the body and the mind, the beauty, the grace, the connection to the breath and to the self that I meet in Vinyasa Yoga, this is what I teach and practice the most. My mission is to share that passion and love of yoga to the people.
